After every Worship service, the pastor extends the invitation to discipleship. This is your opportunity to join the Rodman family. Within a few days, you will hear from your designated lay minister. Your lay minister will act as a liaison between you and the church providing support and information about church events. If you have not heard from a lay minister within a week, please call the Minister of Congregational Care, Rev. Taleeta Canady, at (412) 363-8082 ext. 314.

RSMBC holds a New Member Express class one Saturday a month. If you have not been baptized, you can participate in the sacrament of water Baptism at Rodman. Baptism is done every second Sunday at 9:45 AM. Please contact Gigi Paige at (724) 337-6883 for more information.

After you have completed the steps above you may receive the Right Hand of Fellowship. This signifies a person’s spiritual and financial commitment to support the ministry of  Rodman Street Missionary Baptist Church.

Get involved in the ministry:

• Bible Study (Word-Up Wednesday) is taught by the Senior Pastor every Wednesday at Noon in the church Sanctuary. R.E.L.A.Y (Rodman Equipping Leaders All- Year Round) Training is held on the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00pm. R.E.L.A.Y. training is for all individuals who hold a leadership position in the church and those who have a desire to be in leadership.

• Bible Study for children and teens is held every Wednesday at 7:00pm. You may contact Rev. Van Lee, the Minister for children, youth and adults, at 412-363-8082 ext. 303 for more information.

• Participating in Street Academy Classes is also encouraged. These classes are posted in the church bulletin weekly.

• You will complete a Spiritual Gifts Assessment in the New Member Express Class. After completing the Spiritual Gifts Assessment, review the ministries that are suggested based on your profile.
